ALLETE's third quarter earnings release, conference call October 31

DULUTH, Minn.—ALLETE, Inc. (NYSE:ALE) will announce its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 with a news release scheduled to be issued before the market opens on Friday, October 31, 2008.
