ADESA Corporation Acquires I-44 Auto Auction
Located on over 85 acres of property on Interstate 44 at 161st East Avenue in Tulsa, I-44 Auto Auction will be renamed ADESA Tulsa and will be managed by current general manager, Duane Snapp. ADESA Tulsa will offer six fully automated auction lanes, storage for over 3,000 vehicles and a five-bay reconditioning and detail facility.
“The acquisition of I-44 Auto Auction will create a presence in Oklahoma and will further expand ADESA into the Southern Plains region,” said Jim Hallett, president and CEO of ADESA Corporation. “ADESA is pleased to associate with an auction that has continued to receive high rankings from several respected auto remarketing organizations.”
Founded in 1987, the I-44 Auto Auction employs 175 people. The addition of this sale brings the total number of ADESA auctions in North America to 55.
